Story: Dive into a world of comedic conspiracies and personal secrets

The year is 2099, and with the help of alien knowledge, rapid technological advancements created a point where large corporations now sponsor planets. After the passing of a family member, you receive an invitation from the family's lawyer to join the Primate Observation Club. This secretive and powerful club gives you an eye into the lives of the various residents across the galaxy. Peeking into their lives will allow you to find clues, learn more about what's happening on the screen in front of you, and even contact them if you wish.

Just from the demo, you can see a game that wants you to be nosy. Right from the get-go, you're offered the chance to watch a situation between a therapist and their client unfold. Digging deeper into their lives and searching through the clues, you discover more about the situation and interact. Be careful, though. Once you make your choices, there will be no turning back. Don't fret. There is always more to see and more to delve into as you purchase more viewing screens in the MonkeyVision app.

Gameplay: A point-and-click adventure into secrets and conspiracy

Do Not Feed The Monkeys 2099 is an investigative and comedic digital voyeur simulator. Receiving your MonkeyVision app once you join the Primate Observation Club, you will be responsible for the hidden cameras in the monitoring cages. Events will unfold in a text format, so you'll want to read and pay attention. Looking for words that are in a different color. Clicking on them will offer additional search terms. Along with the MonkeyVision app, several other tools will assist you, including an internet browser to look up the search terms you find while viewing monitors. During our preview, we also got to look at the recording tool, which allowed for short recordings in which we sold some information about a celebrity to a tabloid.

Once you've felt that you've found all that you're looking for, you'll be able to purchase additional monitoring cages. Each monitoring cage will host new locations and characters to learn about. Although unlocking these new cages won't be free, you'll be offered a host of side jobs that will earn you money to make purchases and pay your bills. Be careful, though. Make sure you are around when it's time to pay your bills. Missing out on your bill payments will end your time in the Primate Observation Club. The Fictiorama Studios indie title Do Not Feed The Monkeys 2099 will satiate your curiosity and let you delve into weird conspiracies and hilarious situations.
